Calligraphy and painting Mr.Ma

Ma Quanwen, Male, Han ethnic, was born in 1959 and living in Zhenping County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. Shuzhai Name：Yushuzhai.

He is a man who has broad interests in calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting, jade carving, seal cutting, poetry couplets, and also has a little understanding about medicine and music. Most of his literary works earned different awards and have been published into some books, which are welcomed by the collectors.

His calligraphy works, Dance, Tiger and Long-scroll , obtained the Gold Award of the Chinese National Famous Painting and Calligraphy Works Exhibition in the Seventh China National Peasant Sports Meeting.

His traditional Chinese painting works, Yunlong, got the Achievement Award (공로상) from the Arts Gallery of Seoul and the Painting and Calligraphy Culture Association of Korea.

The Dushan Jade artwork , Nvwa Lianshi, designed and made by himself was appraised as the Excellent Products in the Fourth Export Jade Carving Competition. And he himself won the title of Advance workers too. Meanwhile, the jade carving decoration product, the Eight Immortal, designed and made by Liang Feng Master and himself got the Gold Prize of Shenlong Cup.

His line carving artwork, Dushan Jade-Four Seasons Table Plaque (the big one), and another penetrate carving adding line carving product named Four-happiness Lucky Wheel were awarded the Most Innovative Design Prize of the Seventh Luzigang Cup. And also his Jasper Long-scroll Screen artwork-Hundred Children Celebrating Happiness which also used the line carving method was selected as the Excellent Works.

Some of his painting and calligraphy works were chosen to exhibit in the Fifteenth、the Sixteenth and the Twenty-second Crowd Calligraphy Works Exhibition and the China Dragon Culture Painting and Calligraphy Show.

His poetry couplets (couplet hung on the columns of a hall) were edited in the books like the Chinese Contemporary Era Couplet Library and the Nanyang Couplets Collection collecting from home and abroad etc.

Many of his painting and calligraphy works were also edited in the different books like the Famous Painting and Calligraphy Quintessence Works in Contemporary China and so on.

Both his jade carving products (carved with painting and calligraphy products) and traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy works were particularly popular among collectors home and abroad.
